Papaflessas Social Club is delighted to be hosting a “Taste of Freedom”. A Peloponnese Wine and Culinary trip, through the birthplace of modern Greece, held at their newly refurbished “Saint of Freedom” Dining Hall, in foodie Brunswick.

Curated by two fantastic speakers who will guiding your sensory delights on the fine pleasures of the Peloponnese.

Meni Valle, author of four cookbooks, the latest being “Ikaria”. Her rich Greek heritage, coupled with her love for travel and food, has seen Meni become one of Australia’s most respected authorities on Mediterranean cuisine.

Argyris Karavis, a South Australian master of food culture in Melbourne, has a professional love of Greek wine. Argyris has selected some of the finest Peloponnese wines to present on the day. He has run food and beverage competitions and established the annual food and wine festival for the Greek community in Melbourne.

Meraklis Catering has curated a traditional degustation menu featuring dishes of the region. With 32 years in the Hospitality Industry both here and in Greece we are in for a real treat with Peloponnese dishes.
